A Kansas City barbecue joint is making a national TV appearance in a new episode of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” on the Food Network. Host Guy Fieri visits Danny Edwards Blvd BBQ, where owner/chef Danny Edwards makes smoked turkey and a bean dish.
The new episode, which premieres at 9 p.m. Monday, has Fieri showcasing different takes on some Thanksgiving staples.
Fieri also stops in Albuquerque, N.M., where a father/son bakery has a unique take on turkey. And in Santa Fe, N.M., a deli makes turkey wild rice soup and pumpkin pie.
