Updated: 2013-11-15T17:47:33Z

People headed into and out of downtown Kansas City on Interstate 35 might find the going slow.

Work on the I-35 on southwest side of the downtown loop will limit traffic to one lane in each direction between the Cambridge Circle and Jarboe Street beginning at 7 p.m. Friday.

Work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Sunday.
