Updated: 2013-11-15T18:02:06Z

Two gunmen robbed a cab driver and his fare who was ordering food in a restaurant drive-through just east of the Country Club Plaza early Friday.

The fare was paying for his food at Winstead’s at 101 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd. about 2:15 a.m. when the gunmen approached the fare’s window and demanded money. The victims handed over $120 and the robbers ran.

Police were checking the restaurant’s surveillance video.
