'Startup Job Crawl' kicks off Entrepreneurship Week

Updated: 2013-11-15T01:38:17Z

Global Entrepreneurship Week begins Friday in Kansas City with a “Startup Job Crawl” that takes participants to several startup “pockets.”

The daylong traveling event will take student participants from Kansas City Startup Village to BetaBlox to Kauffman Labs to Digital Sandbox, and end at Think Big Partners.

The “startup crawl,” sponsored by the University of Kansas School of Business and Silicon Prairie News, is designed to give students better insight into entrepreneurship possibilities.

The second major event planned for entrepreneurship week will begin at noon Monday at the Kauffman Conference Center, with a speech on entrepreneurship.

The lunch will be followed by presentations from 15 startup companies nominated by business accelerator or incubator programs. Details about the presenters are available at www.kcsourcelink.com.
