Cerner Corp. rose 96 cents, or 1.71%, to close at $57.04.

Commerce Bancshares Inc. rose $1.65, or 3.62%, to close at $47.20.

Compass Minerals rose $1.01, or 1.39%, to close at $73.51.

DST Systems Inc. rose $1.63, or 1.93%, to close at $86.00.

Ferrellgas Partners L.P. fell 6 cents, or 0.26%, to close at $23.40.

Garmin Ltd. fell 10 cents, or 0.22%, to close at $46.25.

Great Plains Energy rose 31 cents, or 1.32%, to close at $23.73.

H&R Block Inc. rose 49 cents, or 1.79%, to close at $27.85.

Kansas City Life Insurance Co. rose 35 cents, or 0.76%, to close at $46.27.

Kansas City Southern rose 83 cents, or 0.68%, to close at $123.32.

O'Reilly Automotive Inc. rose 42 cents, or 0.34%, to close at $123.52.

Sprint Nextel Corp. rose 8 cents, or 1.14%, to close at $7.07.

UMB Financial Corp. rose $2.00, or 3.30%, to close at $62.53.

Waddell & Reed Financial Corp. rose $2.62, or 4.26%, to close at $64.19.

YRC Worldwide Inc. fell 6 cents, or 0.66%, to close at $8.98.
