Missouri moved up one spot to No. 9 in both The Associated Press top 25 and the USA Today Coaches’ poll thanks to a lopsided loss by previously unbeaten Miami.

The Tigers, 8-1 and 4-1 in the Southeastern Conference, remained behind three other one-loss teams — Stanford, Auburn and Clemson — in the AP poll.

Missouri remained ahead of Auburn in the Coaches’ poll, but checked in behind Oklahoma to remain ninth.

The Coaches’ poll makes up one-third of the BCS formula. The new BCS rankings will be released Sunday night.
