United Airlines and Air Canada will make the switch next week from Terminal A to Terminal C at Kansas City International Airport.
United’s switch to Terminal C was supposed to have happened Wednesday, but it was delayed because of a problem with communications equipment.
Aviation officials said that effective at 7 p.m. Monday, all United Airlines and Air Canada arrivals will operate out of Terminal C. The first arrival into Terminal C will be United flight 4163 from Houston, scheduled at 7:37 p.m. Monday.
United will still have two departures from Terminal A after 7 p.m. Monday, but all arrivals and departures starting Tuesday morning will be from Terminal C. Passengers can check www.flykci.com for terminal and gate information.
United and Air Canada passengers who leave KCI from Terminal A should be aware that if they return after 7 p.m. Monday, they will be returning to Terminal C.
If they parked in the Terminal A garage or circle lot, they can use the Red Bus to get to their vehicles. If they parked in the Terminal A Economy Lot, they can take the Blue Bus and ask to be dropped off at the transfer station in the Economy Lot.
The airport plans to close Terminal A once US Airways makes the move to Terminal C early next year.
