Hallmark should know better.

Company workers over the years have been through plenty of diversity programs, yet slip-ups still occur. A new Keepsake Christmas ornament resembling a holiday sweater omits the word gay from the age-old Christmas carol, Deck the Halls.
Don we now our fun apparel! just doesnt have the same ring. But the word change was made on the 2013 ornament because gay is open to misinterpretation, The Kansas City Star reports.
Hallmark had defended the change. But by Thursday afternoon, flooded with peoples reactions, the company apologized.
We never intended to offend or make political statements with our products, and in hindsight, we realize we shouldnt have changed the lyrics on the ornament, Hallmark said in a prepared statement.
