St. Louis robbery nets $10,000 in hair extensions

— St. Louis police are investigating a smash-and-grab robbery that netted a thief thousands of dollars in hair extensions.

Police say someone drove an SUV into Kings Beauty Supply in south St. Louis Monday morning in the latest in a series of smash-and-grab robberies in the city.

The store owner KMOV the suspects took $10,000 in hair extensions before fleeing the scene.

It was not immediately known if anything else was taken.
