The Overland Park City Council at a September meeting hesitated to jump like other cities in the metro area have at Googles offer, worrying over an indemnification contract clause that might leave the city with a repair bill for damage involving the construction, The Kansas City Star reports. When the city was ready to go ahead, Google had decided Overland Park wasnt worth the wait.
So, one of the fastest growing cities in the metro area could be the only one without the fastest Internet service. That should make people who call Overland Park home very happy.
