The locally owned Saints Pub + Patio is coming to Shawnee.

The neighborhood restaurant and bar plans to open in the former Waxy O’Shea’s Irish Pub space in Ten Quivira Plaza, 11900 Shawnee Mission Parkway, in mid-December. The space will be completely remodeled and will have 30 large screen TVs for “great sports viewing,” said Scott Anderson, owner.

Other area Saints Pub + Patio locations are in Independence, Lenexa and Lawrence. There also are two locations in the Des Moines, Iowa area, and one in Omaha.

Menu items include fish and chips, Cajun chicken pasta, pizza, burgers, sandwiches and wraps.

Ten Quivira Plaza also has such tenants as Price Chopper and Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches.
