Health care job fair set for Thursday

Kansas City area health care providers will hold a job fair Thursday at the Overland Park Convention Center.

The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., is free and is sponsored by Life Care Centers of America and Kindred Hospitals. The convention center is at 6000 College Blvd.

Job seekers interested in nursing, home health care, administrative services, customer service and other positions are encouraged to attend. Pre-registration at is encouraged but not required.

The companies and healthcare organizations scheduled to attend include St. Luke’s Health Systems, Apria Healthcare, Children’s Mercy Hospital, the University of Kansas Hospital, Swope Health Services, Sunflower State Health Plan, and Life Care Centers of America.
