Kansas City is getting a morale boost from the Chiefs’ continuing winning streak.

Whether people are wealthy or homeless, they feel buoyed by the home team becoming the only one in the NFL with a 7-0 record. Grocery stores in the lead up to the game were filled with folks buying food and drinks for game-time gatherings.

Afterward, vehicles hit the streets flying Chiefs flags. It’s like a Cinderella dream especially after so many losing seasons.

Let’s hope the team and the town party on to the Super Bowl and win there, too.
