Weather postpones first day of Kansas girls tennis state tournaments

The first day of Kansas high school girls tennis state tournaments has been postponed due to weather.

The Class 6A tournament at Maize South is postponed until Saturday. Player introductions will begin at 10:00 am and matches will follow at 10:30 a.m. The event’s second day will begin at 9:00 am on Sunday.

The Class 5A and 3-2-1A state tournaments will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday and continue at 9 a.m. on Sunday. Class 5A is being held in Arkansas City and Class 3-2-1A in Pratt.

The Class 4A state tournament in Topeka, meawhile, will begin at 10:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
