High school refs arrested during game in New Orleans

Updated: 2013-10-15T20:49:01Z

— New Orleans, you crazy!

Came across this story from the Times-Picayune.

Some high school referees wanted uncredentialed fans removed from the sideline, which is an issue school administrators need to address in the first place before it becomes an issue for the officials.

Instead, the officials got into an argument with overzealous police officers on hand to provide security and were arrested in the middle of a high school football game.

Like I said, New Orleans, you crazy.
