On the way: Arctic Monkeys and lots of friends

The British indie-rock band the Arctic Monkeys will headline the Buzz Stole Xmas festival on Dec. 14, a Saturday.

Also on the bill: the Head and the Heart, Foals, Bastille and Nonono.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday via the Midland web site and at from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at the theater’s box office, 1228 Main St. Advance tickets are $35. In September, the Monkeys released “AM,” their fifth studio album and their first in more than two years.

It has since been nominated for a Mercury Prize as the best album in the United Kingdom and Ireland. On Tuesday, the Head and the Heart will release “Still,” the follow-up to its self-titled debut, now more than two years old.
