Free workshop will offer networking advice for job hunters

Tips on making a good first impression will be shared at a free workshop Oct. 22 in Overland Park.

Baker University’s School of Professional and Graduate Studies will host the event, which begins at 6 p.m. at 7301 College Blvd.

Registration is due online by Oct. 20 at www.bakeru.edu/careerworkshop.

Presentations include how to develop a 30-second self-introduction, how to develop rapport, how to handle rejection and how to find other networking opportunities.
