It’s not your typical kidnapping.
Police on Sunday got a call about a baby goat on the loose at one of Overland Park’s high schools.
When officers arrived, they found the kid stuck in a fence and it had to be freed, according to Overland Park Police Chief Jon Douglass’ blog.
After identifying the kid as Kale from Overland Park’s Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, police called an employee who picked up Kale and returned him home.
Police believe that this is a prank, but the prankster or pranksters face some serious crimes, including burglary, theft and animal cruelty.
Even though Kale was returned home, police are investigating for the possibility of filing charges.
