Two teens who previously lived in Kansas City have been arrested in Oregon on suspicion that they killed a relative of one of the teens and stole her car.

Oregon police told reporters for OregonLive.com, a website run by The Oregonian newspaper, that they think the two killed a great-grandmother of one of the teens and intended to drive her Lexus to Kansas City.

The two, ages 17 and 19, were arrested Saturday after a chase with police. Speeds reached 135 mph.

According to the website, the teens were in the great-grandmother’s green 2006 Lexus when they were apprehended in Oregon.

According to an autopsy, the 71-year-old woman, who lived in suburban Portland, died of blunt-force trauma. The two teens await charges.
