Both the Missouri men’s and women’s basketball teams will participate in a preseason scrimmage Oct. 15.

The annual Black and Gold Game is set for 6 p.m. at Mizzou Arena. Admission is $3 or free with a donation of at least three canned goods of the University of Missouri’s food pantry. Parking is free.

Missouri basketball players will autograph 2013-14 team posters on the concourse until 6:45 p.m., when the scrimmages tip off.

The Tigers men, who went 23-13 and lost in the NCAA Tournament’s round of 64 last season, are expected to be led by Tulsa transfer Jordan Clarkson and two double-figure scorers, junior Jabari Brown (13.7 ppg) and senior Earnest Ross (10.3).

Meanwhile, coach Robin Pingeton’s squad also reached the postseason, playing in the WNIT and finishing the season 17-15. Missouri’s women return the top two scorers, Bri Kulas (13.8) and Morgan Eye (12.2) from a team that connected on a school-record 263 three-pointers.
