Well, its here again KUs 29th annual Late Night in the Phog is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday and Kansas players have apparently been spending the week cramming for their moment under the lights.
It was all a minor surprise for senior transfer Tarik Black, who arrived this summer after three years at Memphis. They did a little dancing at Memphis season-opening party, Black says, but the blue bloods, it seems, even take dancing to the next level.
Man, our choreographers, they think were Chris Brown backup dancers, Black said. They think were professionals.
One other spoiler alert: Kansas coach Bill Self says that KU broadcasting legend Max Falkenstien will be participating in Fridays festivities, taking on the role of Blue from the movie Old School.
Its almost like a 67th-year senior, Self joked on Thursday afternoon.
