Vehicle rolls over on Lewis and Clark viaduct

Updated: 2013-10-03T19:47:21Z

One person was injured late Thursday morning when a car rolled over on the Lewis and Clark viaduct.

The vehicle’s driver apparently lost control of the car during a late-morning rain, said Craig Duke, Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department deputy chief.

While initial reports indicated one person had been ejected from the vehicle, emergency personnel couldn’t confirm that, Duke said. The one-car accident occurred on the viaduct near the Kansas River at North James Street.

Authorities transported one person to Truman Medical Center, he added.
