A new poll out this morning suggests that by overwhelming numbers, Americans don’t want a dispute over Obamacare to result in a government shutdown.

The Quinnipiac poll said Americans oppose a shutdown as a way to stop the president’s health care law from taking effect by 72 percent to 22 percent.
That sentiment came about even though respondents were nearly split on Obamacare itself.
