Titans coach says Locker is out for Sunday’s game vs. Chiefs.

Updated: 2013-10-01T15:08:01Z

Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker will not play Sunday against the Chiefs, his coach told reporters Monday.

Locker suffered a hip injury in the Titans’ victory over the Jets on Sunday and had to be carted off the field. He spent the night in the hospital, but Titans coach Mike Munchak said Monday that the injury is not believed to be season-ending. Ryan Fitzpatrick, who finished the game for Locker, is expected to start against the Chiefs.
