The Kansas State High School Activities Association on Friday released its school classifications for this school year in all non-football sports. The reclassifications announced for football do not take effect until the 2014-15 school year.

Shawnee Mission South will compete in Kansas Class 6A in all sports this school year. The Raiders spent one year in Class 5A in all sports except football.
Bishop Miege will drop to Class 4A in non-football sports this school year and will slide to Class 4A Division I in football beginning in the 2014-15 school year.
Oskaloosa and Kansas City Christian will move up to Class 3A in non-football sports, and Heritage Christian is slated for a bump to Class 2A.
In football, Blue Valley and Harmon will move up to Class 6A in the 2014-15 school year, taking the place of Leavenworth, which will drop to Class 5A. Bonner Springs and St. James Academy will join them in Class 5A next season.
Oskaloosa is slated for a bump to Class 3A in football, as well, while the Maranatha Christian Academy football team will compete in the Class 2-1A division.
