PHILADELPHIA — Cornerback Brandon Flowers will play in Thursday night’s game against the Eagles, the Chiefs announced. Flowers has been dealing with a knee injury and was listed as questionable entering the game.

While Flowers will give a boost to a secondary that will likely be tested by Philadelphia coach Chip Kelly’s innovative offense, the Chiefs will be a little short at tight end, as Anthony Fasano and Travis Kelce are both inactive. That leaves the position to Sean McGrath and Kevin Brock, the latter of which was just re-signed this week after being cut in early September.
Other inactive players for the Chiefs include: quarterback Tyler Bray, linebacker Nico Johnson, center Eric Kush, linebacker Josh Martin and defensive tackle Jaye Howard.
Inactive players for the Eagles include: quarterback Matt Barkley, cornerback Roc Carmichael, cornerback Jordan Poyer, defensive tackle Matt Tobin, tackle Dennis Kelly, defensive end Damion Square and tight end Emil Igwenagu.
