McDougald, who was released from the Chiefs’ 53-man roster Monday to make room for tight end Kevin Brock, is back with the club after only a few days. He signed as a rookie free agent in May after appearing in 47 games for Kansas from 2009-12.
Opurum, who also joined the team in May as a rookie free agent, played defensive end and linebacker at Kansas from 2009-12.
