K-State hoops scrimmage to tip off Oct. 25

Kansas State’s “Madness in Manhattan,” a season-opening event for men’s and women’s basketball, will be at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at Bramlage Coliseum. The event is free, and doors open at 8 p.m.

The Wildcats will unveil a special tribute to their basketball heritage in the coliseum rafters before the scrimmages by both teams. There will also be a dunk contest and skills competition. Coaches Bruce Weber and Deb Patterson and selected men’s and women’s players will speak to the crowd.
