When President Barack Obama tours the Ford Claycomo plant on Friday he should get behind the wheel of a F-150 pickup truck and take it for a spin around town.

His Secret Service detail could follow.

The president’s trip is to “highlight the progress” the country has made in pulling out of the financial crisis of the last five years. To underscore the occasion, Obama should have some fun and hang an arm out the pickup window wave to the crowd and blare Blake Shelton’s hit song, “Boys ’Round Here” on the truck stereo.

Someone could even toss Obama a can of Skoal, and he could dip if he dared.
