Chiefs cornerback Dunta Robinson, who was excused all last week because of a family issue, will not play in today’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Robinson is the Chiefs’ starting nickel back in passing situations. Backup safety Husain Abdullah will take Robinson’s spot.

The Chiefs also declared the following players as inactive: quarterback Tyler Bray, wide receiver Chad Hall, linebacker Nico Johnson, center Eric Kush, linebacker Josh Martin and defensive tackle Jaye Howard.

Johnson missed the season opener at Jacksonville while recovering from a sprained ankle, but he was a full participant in practice last week.
