Officers in wolf packs to target drunken drivers in southern Jackson County

Law enforcement officers in wolf packs will patrol an area of southern Jackson County Friday night looking for drunken drivers.

The Jackson County Traffic Safety Task Force announced Friday morning that officers will conduct the special enforcement effort beginning with a briefing at 9:30 p.m.

The wolf packs, made up of officers from multiple jurisdictions, will conduct saturation patrols looking for intoxicated drivers.

People suspected of driving drunk will be arrested.
