H&M is scheduled to open in Oak Park Mall next week.

The international clothing store chain plans to open at noon Sept. 19 at 11149 W. 95th St. in Overland Park. The 26,000-square-foot store — the company’s first in Kansas — will sell contemporary clothing at low prices for women, men and children. Items will include accessories, lingerie, sports apparel, and maternity wear.

The first 200 shoppers in line on opening day will get an H&M T-shirt and an “Access to Fashion Pass” valued from $10 to $300.

Regular store hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

H&M also has a store on the Country Club Plaza.

H&M, or Hennes & Mauritz, was founded in Sweden in 1947.
