Tymrak and Henninger will be loaned through Dec. 31, so their status with FC Kansas City will be unaffected.
Tymrak, who made her debut with the U.S. women's national team Tuesday, was named the National Women's Soccer League rookie of the year after scoring six goals this summer.
"I'm extremely excited to play for FC Bayern Munich in my offseason," Tymrak said in a release. "It will give me a chance to continue playing at a high level and to experience soccer overseas."
Henninger served as the backup to Blues keeper Nicole Barnhart. She appeared in two games.
Henninger and Tymrak will be available to play when Bayern Munich opens its season Saturday.
"Erika and Bianca have both had a great season for us; now they have the opportunity to continue their growth overseas," FC Kansas City coach Vlatko Andonovski said. "When they return to us after the new year, they will have another outlook on the game and can use that to help us next season."
FC Kansas City releases forward
Tiffany Cameron has been released by FC Kansas City, the team announced Friday. Cameron made only one appearance with the Blues this season.
