A water boil advisory for a portion of Oak Grove has been lifted.
The eastern Jackson County community issued the advisory after a water main broke Sunday night. The advisory recommended that residents of several Oak Grove streets boil water for five minutes before drinking it or using in the preparation of food.
Workers repaired the water line early Monday, said Mark Sherwood, Oak Grove emergency management director, and the advisory was lifted early Tuesday afternoon.
