Cellphone users are enjoying better service, report says

The old “Can you hear me now?” Verizon cellphone TV commercials will go down in advertising history like the cigarette jingle, “Winston tastes good like a cigarette should.”

That’s because dropped calls, missed texts and slow downloads are occurring less often, a J.D. Powers report shows. Cellphone users have experienced less trouble in 10 categories in the first half of 2013 than in the last half of 2012, The Kansas City Star reports.

Verizon’s network had the fewest problems. Sprint did relatively poorly.
