Houlihan’s is saying goodbye to its 27-year-old Overland Park restaurant at 11600 W. 95th St. The restaurant was scheduled to close Tuesday night. But a new Houlihan’s is opening across the street at 11851 W. 95th St., on the site of a former TGI Friday’s on a pad site of Oak Park Mall.

The new Houlihan’s is scheduled to open on Sept. 9. and will feature Houlihan’s new smaller footprint design, 5,675 square feet and seating 184 people in the dining room and bar, and 79 on the patio, compared to the old location, which was 9,400 square feet with a seat count of 259 in the dining area and bar, and 48 seats on the patio.
