Leawood becomes latest city to sign on for Google Fiber

The city of Leawood on Monday became the latest area municipality to embrace Google Fiber.

A Google spokeswoman said the city council approved two resolutions authorizing the mayor to execute agreements between the city and Google Fiber Kansas LLC to make possible the high-speed Internet service.
