And honestly, we haven’t stopped dancing yet, either.
Gaga debuted the three-and-a-half-minute video Monday morning during an appearance on “Good Morning America.”
The video is colorful eye candy, starting out with Gaga scantily clad in lacy black lingerie atop a bed, then transforming – her favorite thing to do – into creatures as varied as a swan and a runway model.

Fans had heard the song before Monday. Earlier this month, hackers leaked the song online, prompting Gaga to declare a “pop music emergency.”
She hasn’t performed since earlier this year when hip surgery in February forced her to cancel the rest of her “Born this Way” tour with 20 shows to go. So fans can’t wait to see her perform “Applause” at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.
"I thought about nothing but my fans every minute since that tour ended," Gaga said on “GMA.”
"It was intense, especially because I’m such an active person and I love performing so much. It was challenging to stop performing. That was the hardest part, not seeing the fans, not performing, not playing the music."
“Applause” will be featured on her new album, “Artpop,” debuting Nov. 11. But Gaga told Ryan Seacrest recently that the song almost didn’t make the album.
