— Missouri’s athletic department will host a Tiger Scholarship Fund Summit at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 27 in the Diamond Club of Kauffman Stadium.

Athletic director Mike Alden, men’s basketball coach Frank Haith, softball coach Ehren Earleywine will be in attendance, as will former student athletes like Gary Link and T.J. Moe.

“We are so excited to be coming to Kansas City and the turnouts at these summits have been terrific thus far,” associate athletics director Sarah Baumgartner said in a statement. “Naturally we would like to use these events to help grow our membership in Kansas City, but most importantly it’s a great way for us to come to our fans and show them how much they mean to us. Their support of the Tiger Scholarship Fund helps us pay for scholarships and allows our student-athletes to excel both on and off the field of competition.”

The event is free to current Tiger Scholarship Fund donors. Non-TSF members may attend by joining with a minimum donation starting at $50. Those wishing to do so can visit www.tsf-mizzou.com to join.

The Tiger Scholarship Fund held similar events in St. Louis and Sikeston this spring.
