Kansas State will hold its annual Fall Football Kickoff at 5 p.m. Aug. 17 at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kan.
The Kansas City Star
The event is free and fans will be able to watch the final hour of practice starting at 5 p.m, followed by an address from coach Bill Snyder and team captains and then a one-hour autograph session. K-State has asked fans to limit the number of autographed items to one per person and are encouraged to bring their own items to be signed.
Fans are asked to park on the east side of the stadium and enter through Gates P, R, S and T. Sections 21-28 plus tickets, concessions and merchandise stands will be open on the east side of the stadium, but the west and south sides will be closed because of West Stadium Center construction.
K-State’s season starts Aug. 30 with a Friday night game against Division I-AA champion North Dakota State. The West Stadium Center will be dedicated before the game, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m. on Fox Sports 1, in a 11 a.m. ceremony. Season tickets and tickets for the opener are sold out, but several hundred general admission and standing-room tickets for all other home games except Iowa State remain available.
