Kansas City man missing after party Saturday night

Updated: 2013-08-08T12:11:11Z

A 20-year-old Kansas City man who just received a promotion at work and seemed happy has not been seen since Saturday night.

Family members are worried about Robert Seth Walter, who was last reported seen shortly after 10 p.m. near 17th Street and Madison Avenue. Walter is believed to have his phone but not his wallet.

His mother, Jackie Walter, said her son is 6-feet-2-inches tall and about 165 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He was believed to be wearing all black: baseball cap, shirt, shorts and shoes. Walter’s car is a 2012 maroon Nissan Altima with Missouri plates MK8E8X, some minor front-end damage and a spoiler on the back.

Walter’s parents said he had recently been promoted at an Apple Retail Store, had a college scholarship and was planning to move into a loft.

Anyone with information is asked to call Kansas City police at 816-234-5136.
