— The Chiefs announced Tuesday that the club has signed cornerback Semaj Moody, who spent the 2012 season playing for the Chicago Rush of the Arena Football League.

To make room for Moody on the 90-man roster, the club waived cornerback Conroy Black, who had joined the team last week.

Moody, 5-10, 195, played in all 18 games for the Rush and led the team in tackles with 86.5. Moody also had three interceptions and two fumble recoveries, returning one for a touchdown. He played collegiately at South Carolina State.
