The Royals' recent hot streak is carrying over to TV. Sunday's 6-2 win against the Mets was the highest-rated Royals telecast ever on Fox Sports Kansas City with a 9.7 rating in the KC market. That also made it the weekend's most-watched program in KC, peaking with a 12.2 rating and 24 share.

The Royals Live postgame show felt some of the love as well, setting a new mark Sunday with a 6.3 rating.

Before Sunday, Friday night's extra-inning loss to the Mets was the highest-rated with a 9.1.

Overall this season, Royals telecasts are averaging a 6.1 rating, which is a 54 percent increase from last year.
