— Missouri has lost another member of its 2013 recruiting class, as freshman offensive tackle Harneet Gill quit the team on Saturday for personal reasons, team spokesman Chad Moller confirmed.

Gill, a three-star prospect from Francis Howell High School, is the fourth casualty of the class. Fort Zumwalt South running back Chase Abbington and Richmond Heights defensive tackle Antar Thompson didn’t qualify academically, while Missouri coach Gary Pinkel said Thursday that junior college safety Duron Singleton won’t be joining the team due to “personal reasons.”

Gill, who was listed at 6 feet 5 and 285 pounds, participated in Missouri’s first practice Thursday but has since been wearing a red non-contact jersey since then. Offensive coordinator Josh Henson said Friday that he was feeling the effects of a previous foot injury, likely the one that caused him to miss his entire senior season at Francis Howell.
