Updated: 2013-08-03T14:08:42Z

A 76-year-old Clay County man has been sent to prison after repeated violations of his probation in a child sex abuse case.

A Clay County judge on Thursday ordered Conrad G. Witte to serve the 15-year prison sentence that was initially suspended when he pleaded guilty in 2005.

Witte, of Pleasant Valley, was convicted of statutory sodomy involving a three-year-old girl, according to information on the Missouri sex offender registry.
