KC delegation headed to Boston to discuss 2016 GOP convention here

Kansas City Mayor Sly James says he and several others are traveling to Boston in mid-August to make a case for bringing the 2016 Republican National Convention to the area.

Several local governments, including Kansas City’s, have either endorsed or will endorse resolutions supporting the local GOP confab.

But it’s still a long shot.

A decision could be made this year, but it’s more likely to come next year.
