Employment team earns state recognition
The Missouri Department of Mental Health recently awarded Exemplary status to Tri-County Mental Health’s Employment Services team for its evidence-based supported employment.
“The evidence-based model is designed to help people with serious and persistent mental illness find and keep competitive jobs,” said Tish Thomas, Missouri trainer for Supported Employment, Region 7. She also praised the agency for its partnerships with area employers and counselors.
Tri-County is the first agency in Missouri to be awarded the Exemplary status.
