— Shortly before 7-on-7 began, offensive lineman Jeff Allen was taken from the field on a cart. Geoff Schwartz filled in for him with the first team at left guard. Allen did not return for the team portion of practice.

Here are a few highlights from 7-on-7:

• Devon Wylie got a lot of work with the first team at WR, and had a number of passes thrown his way. He only came up with one catch, though, either because of good coverage or bad throws or a combination of both.

• Perhaps the throw of the practice was made by Missouri’s Chase Daniel, who completed a gorgeous over-the-shoulder pass to tight end Tony Moeaki for a touchdown. Moeaki was running a seam route over the middle.

• Cornerback Sean Smith had a couple pass deflections, including one on a go route in which he seemed to have the wind knocked out of him. He walked off the field slowly, but returned moments later.
