Chase from fatal shooting scene ends at Kansas City hospital

Police responding to a shooting call early Saturday morning followed a car that sped to Research Medical Center, only to find a 23-year-old man dead inside the vehicle.

The shooting was reported around 2:30 a.m. in the 8600 block of Troost Avenue. Police saw a car speeding from the scene and pursued it to the hospital.

The police have not yet released any description of a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
