TV show detects ‘friendly’ spirits at The Elms

Updated: 2013-07-18T14:14:21Z

If there are spirits at The Elms Hotel & Spa in Excelsior Springs they are the friendly sort.

That was the message 150 guests received watching the summer finale of “Ghost Hunters” broadcast Wednesday on the SyFy channel.

Keith Winge, special projects manager for the hotel, said the paranormal investigators picked up various sounds as well as strange motions at the indoor pool.

“They did not find any activity to make them believe that the spirits are not happy,” Winge said. “So many good things have happened here there would be no need (for the the ghosts to be upset).”
